Japan Triathlon Union dispatches top Japanese athletes, Elite, U23, Jr. and age group athletes, to 2016 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Cozumel held in 11-18 September in Mexico and 2016 Oklahoma ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships held in 24 September in United States.
